Very nice copy of the original 1965 first pressing of the first solo Astrid Gilberto LP on Verve V-8608. Original mono version with glossy cover and the hype sticker. Rudy Van Gelder stamps in the runoff. Features A.C. Jobim, and production by the great Creed Taylor. Some of her most famous songs are here, like Agua de Beber, O Morro, and How Insensitive. And it sounds absolutely gorgeous. The disc has a number of superficial scuffs and light marks but plays just about flawlessly and truly beautifully. Barely the slightest crackle even between songs. The cover has only light shelfwear, barely. This is a truly beautiful sounding original copy.
