This is the original motion picture soundtrack for the movie Papillon, released in 1973. The vinyl LP is in the 12" format and has a speed of 33 RPM. It features the music composed by Jerry Goldsmith, who is also the artist composer conductor for this album. Probably my favorite film composer and this is right up there with Planet of the Apes!!! The record label is Capitol and it was manufactured in the United States. This album was purchased in a used record store in Northampton MA back in the early ’90s for $8.00 and still has the orange price sticker and also the previous owner numbered music library sticker on front and back of cover stating “ 3775 CECF-TV” ?!?!
