Two early albums by the English prog-pop band Supertramp. Both are first pressings in great shape. Big draw is Crime of the Century, the 1974 breakthrough album featuring the hits “Dreamer” and “Bloody Well Right.” Rolling Stone placed the effort among the 50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums and it went Gold in 1977. This is the US Pitman pressing, SP 3647. Vinyl is strong VG, with some slight scuffing and light, nonfeelable scratches, none of which affect playback. Sleeve is VG+ with no splits, slight wear; printed lyrics inner sleeve is VG with 1 inch bottom split and slight creasing. Next is Crisis? What Crisis?, the group’s 1975 follow-up. This is the US Terre Haute Press, SP 4560. Not as familiar with this one. Vinyl is VG+ with a few Iight scuffs. Sleeve is VG+, no splits; inner sleeve is VG+ with no splits.
