THE VINYLS:   EXCELLENT

SOME NEGLIBLE SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES, A FEW HAIRLINES, BUT IT PLAYS EXCEPTIONALLY STRONG AND CLEAR. IT PLAYS WITH VERY OCCASIONAL CLICK AND VERY FEW CRACKLES EVEN IN THE QUIETER SECTIONS,  NO STICKS OR JUMPS. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN LABELS,  SOME SPINDLE MARKS BUT NO WEAR AROUND THE CENTRE HOLES.

 THE COVER:    EXCELLENT

CLEAN GLOSSY SLEEVE WITH SOME SIGNS OF 55 YEARS OF WEAR. BUT IT REALLY IS A GOOD SLEEVE. SOME CORNER WEAR AND MINOR EDGE WEAR (see photos). SPINE HAS SOME CREASES BUT IS CLEAN AND READABLE. FLIPBACK ARE COMPLETE AND SECURE. NO SELLOTAPE, NO WRITING. NO RINGWEAR. SOME SURFACE SCUFFS AND SMALL MARKS. SOME LAMINATE LIFT TO FRONT EDGE OF SPINE. SLIGHT AGEING AND MANY CREASES. NOT QUITE AS WHITE AS THE PHOTOS SUGGEST, BUT STILL A GREAT SLEEVE.   NUMBERED SLEEVE No. A007311

THE INNER SLEEVES:   EXCELLENT

Original shaped plastic inner sleeves, no wear, no splits, no stains, no writing or sellotape. Some creasing.

THE INSERTS:   VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD+

Original photos (all 4) in decent condition but they have some edge tears and all have creases and top and bottom pin holes, George has a tear at bottom which has been sellotaped, (VG).  

The poster is in tact and complete but has some small tears at the corners which also have pin holes but still in VG+ condition

Strictly Graded Using RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records.

I have added a(+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

I try to grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (see above). However if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please email me ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

Post & Packaging - I try to recycle all packaging so you may get your goods in a recycled packaging / cardboard container. All items over £15 are sent 'Signed For' and I always obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners.
