Very nice original 1971 first pressing copy of Marvin Gaye’s classic What’s Going On LP on Motown / Tamla T5310. Original thicker vinyl pressing with gatefold cover. The disc has a number of scuffs and visible marks but really plays just beautifully. Oddly this copy plays almost mint. The scuffs and marks don’t make a single sound. I don’t hear any pops or crackles at all. Maybe one or two very faint ticks between a couple songs but barely even that. Despite the visible wear it is an EX+ player. Really! The cover only has light shelfwear, with only a faint ring noticeable and very light edgewear. Really a beautiful cover, unusually clean. This is a really nice copy, despite the marks. The music is perfect…
