Absolutely stunning copy of the original 1973 first pressing of Duke Ellington’s Great Paris Concert double-LP on Atlantic SD-2-304. Original Broadway labels and textured gatefold cover. Recorded in 1963, and featuring many of Duke’s classic sidemen, like Johnny Hodges, Cootie Williams, Cat Anderson, and so forth. A classic recording, one of his greatest later records. And this is a truly beautiful copy. Both discs are pretty much mint perfect. Not the slightest mark or blemish of any sort. They look unplayed. The cover has a touch of wear in on the spine and very minor corner wear and maybe one or two spots of edgewear, but really it is a lovely cover. No seam splits or even ringwear. Also comes with both Atlantic inner sleeves. This is truly a top, top original copy, near impossible to beat.
