For sale here is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic "Wish you were here" album. Comes with all the attributes of an original first UK pressing.
Matrices are an extremely early UK first. A1 / B5. Mother / stampers are   1 / RLT   &   3 / GH. Very early in the production run. Outer cover is still enclosed in the original shrink-wrap, which covers around 95% of the cover. The inner sleeve has 3 cropped corners. Shine on you crazy diamond (part 5) is credited to Waters-Gilmour-Wright.
Also included in the sale is a totally original tour programme from 1974 (in comic book style). This programme is in fabulous condition for its age. Fully intact with only some light age discolouration worthy of mention. A rare item in itself. The original crinkle edged "diving man" postcard is present and in excellent shape. The DVD (which is still sealed) includes rare live footage, interviews and critical reviews. Mint. 2 additional postcards are included (shown in the photos). These are pristine. Finally, a coaster depicting the iconic labels. Pristine.
The cover grades excellent. Black shrink is mostly whole. Inner sleeve also grades excellent. Just starting to form a slit from the edge of the disc, bottom centre. The vinyl visually is really excellent. In harsh strong electric lighting there are no marks of concern. There are the usual wispy sleeve removal traces (damn those cardboard inner sleeves. Why on earth did they do that?). Now housed in a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. The album has been FULLY play-graded. (vinyl weighs 145 grams). Side 1. Great quiet start. There are 3 light ticks about 4 minutes in. The whole side plays almost silently. So rare to find on this album due to rushed production and those card inner sleeves! The side finishes with 5 light clicks at the run out grooves. That is pretty much it for side 1. Plays with great clarity and musicality. Love this album. Side 2. In my notebook my only comments were nigh on perfect. Almost perfect and probably the quietest copy I have heard in a very long while. Very hard to find a pressing as quiet as this one. They were so prone to surface noise. Mass produced in huge numbers after the success of "Dark side", quality went out of the window a little. Quantity over quality. Not this one! Certainly a top top copy that will never require upgrading in my view. As a play- grade, I have no hesitation in giving it my highest grade for a used album. That is, excellent plus.
As a complete and original first UK pressing with the A1 and B5 matrix numbers, black shrink-wrapped cover, and original postcard, I really have to grade overall as a very strong excellent. The original 1974 tour programme is a huge bonus and the additional items included make a great album package even better. One NOT to be missed.
I will post overseas, although not to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. I have listed the price for UK postage only. As a rough guideline, postage within the EU is around £16. Worldwide is around £25. If it works out to be less, I refund the difference immediately. I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway.  I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing. Please bid with peace of mind that what you see is what you get.
If you have any questions, require extra photos (you can only upload 24 on here), please just ask. Album will be posted same day I receive the funds if early enough, or at worst the next day.
Good luck if you decide to bid. The winner will not be disappointed.
