This is the original AmPar
Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of John Coltrane “Ballads” on the coated
labels of Impulse A-32. The playing surface is in near-new
condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The
laminated gatefold cover, with the original tan centerfold, is in excellent
condition – bright clean, and immaculate throughout – with sharp corner and
unworn seams; ½” nick on the bottom edge of the front panel; two ½” nicks on
the bottom edge of the back panel; inspection stamp on the inside right
panel. Original Impulse inner sleeve is
included. Personnel include McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garison, and Elvin
Jones. $100.00.
