THE VINYLS:   VERY GOOD

SOME HAIRLINES AND QUITE A FEW SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES, (A COUPLE OF FEELABLE SCRATCHES BUT THEY DON'T REALLY SOUND AT ALL), BUT IT PLAYS WELL WITHOUT STICKS OR JUMPS ON THREE SIDES BUT THERE IS A SMALL SKIP ON 'YER BLUES'. IT PLAYS WITH SOFT CLICKS IN PLACES AND CRACKLES THROUGHOUT BUT ONLY REALLY NOTICEABLE IN THE QUIETER SECTIONS. FAIRLY CLEAN LABELS BUT PREVIOUS OWNER HAS SIGNED HIS NAME ON ALL 4 LABELS IN BIRO.  HAS A FEW SPINDLE MARKS BUT NO WEAR AROUND THE CENTRE HOLES.

 THE COVER:    VERY GOOD

CLEAN GLOSSY SLEEVE WITH SOME SIGNS OF 55 YEARS OF AGEING. IT HAS BEEN STAPLED TO THE WALL AT SOME POINT SO HAS SEVERAL STAPLE HOLES AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. MINOR CORNER WEAR AND MINOR EDGE WEAR (see photos). SPINE IS CLEAN AND READABLE. FLIPBACK ARE COMPLETE AND SECURE. NO SELLOTAPE, SOME WRITING IN RIGHT OF GATEFOLD. MINIMAL RINGWEAR. MINOR SURFACE SCUFFS AND SMALL MARKS. NO REAL LAMINATE LIFT. NOT AS WHITE AS THE PHOTOS SUGGESTS, 

BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LOW NUMBER.  No. 0017595 

THE INNER SLEEVES:   VERY GOOD

Original black inner sleeves (die-cut one side only), Some creasing, no major wear, minor edge splits (well repaired), no stains, no writing or sellotape. Tiny tears around one centre hole.

THE INSERTS:   VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD

Photos (all 4) in decent condition but they have some ageing and George has some creases.  

The poster is in tact and complete but has some staining, some tears at some of the folds and has a small piece missing top left . Has four pin holes but still in VG condition

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

I grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (seeabove). However, if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please emailme ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned, MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Post& Packaging - I recycle all packaging so you will get your goods in recycled packaging / cardboard container. All items over £20 are insured and sent 'Signed For' or ‘Tracked 48’ and I always obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners.
