This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Gene Amons “The Big Sound” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7132. Side A has a single hairline covering the end of the first track and into the second track that creates just a few light tics; otherwise, the record plays with some light intermittent tics that do not compete with the music. The laminated cover (no address, as issued) is bright and clean throughout; the top seam has ¾” wear at the opening and ¼” wear at the spine; the spine has ¾” wear at the top; the bottom seam has ¾” wear at the opening. Original glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include John Coltrane, Jerome Richardson, Pepper Adams, Paul Quinichette, Mal Waldron, George Joyner, and Art Taylor. $75.00.
Please withhold payment until invoice is received.
