THE VINYLS:   EXCELLENT

SOME HAIRLINES BUT MINIMAL SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES, IT PLAYS EXTREMELY WELL WITHOUT STICKS OR JUMPS. IT PLAYS WITH VERY OCCASSIONAL SOFT CLICKS IN PLACES AND OCCASSIONAL CRACKLES  BUT ONLY REALLY NOTICEABLE IN THE QUIETER SECTIONS. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN LABELS.  HAS A FEW SPINDLE MARKS BUT NO WEAR AROUND THE CENTRE HOLES. PROBABLY THE BEST COPY I'VE HAD (AND I'VE OWNED 25+ COPIES).

 THE COVER:    EXCELLENT

EXTREMELY CLEAN AND GLOSSY SLEEVE WITH NO SIGNS OF 55 YEARS OF AGEING. MINOR CORNER WEAR (HAS A CORNER CREASES (FRONT BOTTOM) AND VERY MINOR EDGE WEAR (see photos). SPINE IS VERY CLEAN AND READABLE. FLIPBACK ARE COMPLETE AND SECURE. NO SELLOTAPE, NO WRITING, NO RINGWEAR. NO SURFACE SCUFFS OR MARKS. NO LAMINATE LIFT OTHER THAN ON THE WORDS 'THE BEATLES'. MAYBE NOT QUITE AS WHITE AS THE PHOTOS SUGGESTS. 

ONE OF THE BEST COVERS I'VE SEEN, ONLY LET DOWN BY ONE BOTTOM CORNER CREASE.

THE INNER SLEEVES:   VERY GOOD+

Original black inner sleeves (die-cut one side only), Some creasing, no major wear, minor edge splits (well repaired), no stains, no writing. Small amount of sellotape on one edge. Small tear around one centre hole.

THE PHOTOS:   EXCELLENT 

Photos (all 4) in excellent condition but they have some ageing. Includes 2 original plain white separaters.  

THE POSTER:   VERY GOOD+

The poster is in tact and complete but has some staining from sellotape removal residue, small tears and small holes at some of the fold edges. No pin holes or sellotape remaining and still in VG+ condition

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

I grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (seeabove). However, if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please emailme ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned, MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Post& Packaging - I recycle all packaging so you will get your goods in recycled packaging / cardboard container. All items over £20 are insured and sent 'Signed For' or ‘Tracked 48’ and I always obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners.
