RARE AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL VEE JAY INTRODUCING THE BEATLES, WITH ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE, JACKET IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, AND LP VERY PLAYABLE GRADED AT VG+.
This is an Allentown Mono Pressing. An online reference guide for this LP characterizes this version as follows:
Mono Version II jacket: titles on back / "Please Please Me" with no comma Mono Version II LP: left justified titles / indented credits / "LONG PLAYING" two words.
The matrices appear partially rubbed out. Here is the best I can ascertain, starting from the discogs Allentown pressing and assuming a stamped sequence which looks illegible from rubbing indeed spells Audiomatrix, and (???) indicates further characters that are indistinct to me:
Matrix / Runout (Side A, var. 1, runout etched (except AudioMatrix)): 63-3402-1 URJ ARC (???) AudioMatrix Matrix / Runout (Side B, var. 1, runout etched (except AudioMatrix)): 63-3403-1 ARC (???) URJ 11A AudioMatrix
The jacket is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with light to moderate corner wear, light edge wear, a name "Marcia Rogers" scratched onto the front jacket next to Ringo, clear spine titling. The original inner sleeve is fully split on one side but not on the other two sides. The label on Side 1 of the record has a partially removed address label (it's possible that the remaining residue can be removed without damaging the label, but I didn't try). There are visible light but unfeelable scratches over very clean vinyl, it looks playable and I'll grade VG+.
RARE IN THIS OVERALL CONDITION!
