Very nice copy of the rare 1953 Lightning Hopkins classic, Candy Kitchen / Another Fool in Town on RPM 78 378. This is the first of many recordings of Candy Kitchen he would make, and probably the best. One of his rarer 78s on the RPM label, and this is a lovely copy. There are some light scuffs and signs of use but mostly it is just superficial. No deep scratches and no clouding or groove distortion. Still quite shiny, and it plays beautifully with only minor background crackle in spots. Really a great player. And it comes in the original record store sleeve from a Texas border shop specializing in Mexican records, where the original owner bought it at the time. It only had one owner until now.

Really this is a very nice copy, hard to find better.
