Very nice copy of the original 1972 pressing of the self-titled Charles Ford Band LP on Arhoolie 4005. This is one of the earliest Arhoolie LPs of all, and quite hard to find these days. Produced and overseen by Arhoolie owner and founder Chris Strachwitz, who sadly recently passed away. Great urban blues featuring Robben Ford. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has slight wear, mainly on the corners. The two upper corners are pretty badly rubbed, with the upper right having a 1.5” split. Slight ringwear as well, but still quite a nice looking cover, completely intact with no mildew or major damage. This is a lovely original copy that sounds fantastic.
