This is the Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing (no deep groove, no “P”) of Herbie Hancock “Inventions and Dimensions” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4147.  Other than a pressing blister at the end of Side 1 that creates a single tick, the playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once; normal inaudible storge splotching.  The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition, with just a superficial crease at the upper left corner of the front.  Illustrated Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Paul Chambers, Willie Bobo, and “Chihuahua” Martinez.  $100.00.
