Great 1989 album from Van Morrison. Features the classic Have I Told You Lately and the glorious Coney Island/I'm Tired Joey Boy.

This copy is very nice. The Vinyl is clean with light surface marks and plays VG+ with light background noise in quiet parts. Inner is immaculate and no splits. Sleeve has light scuffing and hardly any edge wear.

The item is used. Please see pictures for the condition of this item and also the descriptions below which are a guide to my condition rating. Descriptions are based on a visual assessment, but I have play tested parts of most of the items for sale to get an idea of sound quality. All vinyl has been cleaned using a 'spin clean' machine.

I will never list used/unsealed vinyl as 'mint'. I will only list vinyl as 'near mint' if I have test played it and it is in perfect condition. Most of my vinyl will have a top grade of Very Good + unless it is exceptional. I try to avoid over grading vinyl which leads to customer disappointment. I am however human and grading is subjective so if you have any issues please get in touch. You are buying a used item which may be 30+ years old so be reasonable in your expectations.

Description Criteria:

Mint - A new and sealed item with no damage to the cover.

Near Mint - NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any ?spindle marks? from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable. Major factory defects also must be absent; a record and label obviously pressed off centre is not Near Mint. If played, it will do so with no surface noise. NM covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind.

Very Good+ - VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as tell tale marks around the spindle hole, but repeated playing has not mis-shapen the hole.  VG+ records may have very slight background noise/crackle during quiet passages and between tracks.

VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.

Very Good - VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a songs intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise. Minor writing, tape or a sticker can detract from the label. Many collectors who have jukeboxes will use VG records in them and not think twice. They remain a fine listening experience, just not the same as if it were in better shape.

VG covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won?t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written or it or stamped a price tag on it, too.

Buyer pays return postage in the event of any issue (unless it is my fault). Items should be returned in the same condition they were received.

If you are buying multiple items I am happy to offer a combined postage discount, just put the items in the basket and request an invoice. Invoices should be paid within 2 days or the sale may be cancelled.

Your vinyl will be packed with care to avoid damage on its way to you. It may arrive in a recycled mailer which helps to both keep costs down and save the environment. I will endeavour to post next day but please allow up to 3 days. Please remember that the postal service can be slow sometimes during busy periods.
