Purchased around 19 years ago, and I thought I had an absolute bargain, until I started looking on Iron Maiden vinyl collectors forums and realised there was a lot more of these white labels than there should have been. Having spoken to lots of Maiden collectors I’ve come to conclusion that these White labels are mostly (99%?) fakes. The reasons I think this is fake are:

1) The vinyl shows a lot of signs of play and there are a lot of spindle lines on the white labels which begs the question why would you play such a rare record so many times?

2) The matrix number is written in pen when I would expect it to be stamped or something similar, also there are no dates on the label either.

3)There are bubbles on the label suggesting it hasn’t been put on properly.

Condition:

Vinyl = Just good (marks on vinyl due to a lot of play and handling, with crackles and pops, especially in quieter parts)

Labels = Ex (lots and lots of spindle lines)

Sleeve = Vg (plain inner sleeve…see photos)

Inserts = Just good (lots of bends and one insert is torn in half)

As I’ve been asked this a number of times, I can see the matrix numbers are (some are very faint):
