THE BEATLES RUBBER SOUL Vinyl LP Record 1965 Mono 2nd PRESS 4N/4N.
Great condition.
You can tell it is a 2nd press for the following reasons:
- The matrix numbers are XEX 579-4 (Side 1) and XEX 580-4 (Side 2). All later presses are XEX -5. - KT tax code on the label of side 2.
I personally think that the 2nd pressings are better than the "loud cut" first pressings. I think it sounds much better.
Outer Sleeve
In good condition. Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse ltd. No pen marks or writing. The front cover does have a small area where some of the laminate has come off. This is highlighted clearly in the photos.
Inner Sleeve
Original Emitex tracing paper lined inner sleave. In great condition with no rips or tears.
Record
Play well with some background noise and crackles which can be heard between tracks but not during tracks. No skips or sticks. Not bad for a record that is almost 60 years old.
