This is the Van Gelder stamped (no “P”) mono pressing of Andrew Hill “Black Fire” in the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4151. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with just two inaudible scuffs on Side 1; perhaps played once. The coated New York 23 cover is also in excellent condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; 1 ½” superficial crease and ½” bump at the top left corner; 1/8” chip on the top seam, near the spine. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Joe Henderson, Richard Davis, and Roy Haynes. $150.00.
