Nice copy of the original 1966 limited edition Nat King Cole The Magic of Christmas with Children LP on Capitol Creative Products L-6517. This was Capitol’s special pressing division, which made records for corporations and for special markets. This one was made for the Safeway grocery store chain as an exclusive product for their stores only, and was a very limited pressing only ever available at Safeway during Christmas of 1966. The music, as far as I know, was never released anywhere else. Anyhow this copy is very nice. The disc plays beautifully with barely an issue at all. There are a few light superficial scuffs but they don’t affect the play. Maybe just a little backwards crackle between some songs but barely even that. Really a shiny and clean copy overall. The cover has some general shelfwear and a pretty worn upper left corner, which is fraying a bit. There is light ringwear and overall signs of use but no real damage aside from this corner and some further very light edge and corner wear here and there. A very nice original copy.
