I’m a retired jazz musician, and will be selling a bunch of my old jazz records over the next month or so. Please note I am unable to meet in person - all records will be carefully packed and shipped. I tend to grade conservatively, and am easy to deal with if a return is needed.
Joe Henderson “Mode for Joe,” Blue Note 84227 stereo vinyl LP. This is the first pressing from 1966 with “VAN GELDER” on both sides.
Sleeve - VG with creasing, ringwear, writing on back. Includes original inner promo sleeve as well as a modern protective inner sleeve.
Vinyl - EX-. Clean, outstanding listen. The only reason I graded this excellent-minus rather than excellent is because of a lightly audible hard-to-see hairline in track 2 of side 1. I spun this today in order to grade it; prior to today I have not played it in over 20 years.
