This is the original pressing of Mtume “Alkebu-Lan Land of the Blacks” on Strata-East SES-1972-4. The playing surfaces are in virtually new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once, if at all. The coated gatefold cover is bright and clean throughout; ring wear on the front and back panels; 1/8” wear at the top right corner of the front panel; ½” closed break at the center of the bottom seam on the first panel; 1” closed break at the center of the bottom seam on the back panel; ¾” wear at the opening of the bottom seam on the back panel. Personnel include Carlos Garnett, Gary Bartz, Leroy Jenkins, Stanley Cowell, Buster Williams, and Ndugu. $500.00.
