"Fly On The Wall" consists of snippets of conversations and tracks as they were recording the album.
The Beatles have often spoken about how Phil Spector drowned their sound in orchestration on the original Let It Be, released in 1970, and Paul McCartney has vowed to rewrite history by having the version originally intended finally released and that's what we have here.
This release of Let It Be differs significantly from the original Spector-Produced Release. I find it more intimate, stripped down, more acoustic, more detail. This is not a lazy release. It is a truly worthwhile listen and earns itself a place on the shelf next to the their other proper albums.
