Hello and Welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on: 
TITLE/ARTIST: "Lu Watters: 1947" by Lu Watters and the Yerba Buena Jazz Band (see below) on the Riverside Records 10" label (RLP 2513) in vintage original monaural high fidelity sound, recorded circa 1947 and released 1955.
CONDITION OF VINYL: VG++(Vinyl is glowing and beautiful, with a few light paper scuffs - graded visually using special daylight balanced spotlight). CONDITION OF JACKET: VG+(Jacket is in good shape, with wear to edges, corners and back spine; covers are rubbed and lightly soiled; front has sticker tear mark; NOTE: Back cover is filled with extensive "fine-printed" information - please see photos of actual album offered). 
SPECIAL FEATURES: Very rare Riverside Records original issue of a very remarkable Yerba Buena Jazz Band 10" album, featuring Lu Watters on trumpet, along with a brilliant cast of players: Bob Scobey, Turk Murphy, Bob Helm, Wally Rose, Harry Mordecai, Dick Lammi, and Bill Dart. Excellent condition. Back cover features interesting historical, song and arrangement information. This nearly-60-year-old record is a treasure indeed.

RATING SYSTEM: New (sealed in original wrap); Near Mint (very light wear and uniform glossy vinyl appearance; one or two light rubs on jacket surface or corner); VG++ (light wear that is visible but not audible; light wear to jacket edges or corners); VG+ (many marks on record surface that are lightly audible during quiet passages; small splits, marks, or tears on jacket); VG (surface covered with light scuffs or marks that are audible during all but loudest passages; jacket extensively marked, split, or torn: note: we only sell this grade on very rare records).
