The long and winding road,
That leads to your door,
Will never disappear,
I've seen that road before,
It always leads me here,
Lead me to you door.

The wild and windy night,
That the rain washed away,
Has left a pool of tears,
Crying for the day,
Why leave me standing here?
Let me know the way.

Many times I've been alone,
And many times I've cried,
Anyway, you'll never know,
The many ways I've tried.

And still they lead me back,
To the long winding road,
You left me standing here,
A long long time ago,
Don't leave me waiting here,
Lead me to your door.

But still they lead me back,
To the long winding road,
You left me standing here,
A long long time ago,
Don't keep me waiting here,
Lead me to your door,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah......
THE BEATLES: "Beatles "1"  DOUBLE LP, UK PRESSING ON VINYL,13th NOVEMBER ,2000.
VERY RARE, FACTORY SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAPPING.

ON THE APPLE LABEL: 7243 5 29325 1 1  / UK: 529 3251

ORIGINAL UK GATEFOLD COVER STATES 'PRINTED IN EU', BEING STILL SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY
IS OF COURSE HIGHLY DESIRABLE, BUT SHRINK WRAPPING CAN ALSO BE BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE COVER.
NOT HERE,  EVERY PART OF THE COVER HAS BEEN PROTECTED AGAINST SCUFFS OR SCRAPES AND A NATURAL
EVENT PREVENTED THAT HAPPENING.
13 years is more than long for rare authentic 2000 factory sealed first pressings to encounter problems with the shrink wrapping,
natural constriction and tugging the corners and spine etc. often leads to creases, as shrink wrapping.....shrinks!   The stress
factors were relieved by a small area parting on the opening edges, only fractional but that was enough to leave a perfectly flat
and uncreased cover.  The bottom 3inches (7.5 cms) parted on the front opening compartment only, the back compartment is still
enclosed, viewable in a close up picture of course, I included the top section to show that was completely.  A interesting view,
the individual purple & green card inner sleeves are clearly visible, you can see how perfect the edges of the inner's and opening
edges are.
INSIDE WILL BE  UNTOUCHED SINCE 2000, THESE ITEMS WILL BE LIKE BRAND NEW:
1.) Two Unplayed Records

2.) Two Custom Made Individual "1" Purple & Green Card Inner Sleeves

3.) Four Superb Psychedelic Beatles Prints Or Smaller Individual Unfolded Posters.

  4.) Gigantic Folded Colour Poster

  "Let It Be"
  "The Long And Winding Road"
Released in 2000, even EMI/ Apple/Capitol were amazed at the phenomenal sales of "1", the inclusion of the American only singles
worked superbly because "Eight Days A Week" and "The Long And Winding Road" made obvious singles but never released on that
format in Britain.  Four sides of the greatest music on the planet in the 20th century, now graced the 21st century and the vinyl
was packaged like the "White Album", if using different individual Beatles prints and a huge poster.  Commenting about the tracks
on sealed albums I cannot play, would be futile, I prefer having personal inputs to the vinyi descriptions l I can hear, all will
be familiar with the above Beatles chart topping songs.  My only complaint would be the lack of "Strawberry Fields Forever" and
only "Penny Lane",  both "We Can Work It Out" / "Paperback Writer"and "Yellow Submarine"/"Eleanor Rigby" singles were also
double A-sides but neither side was left off.   A minor point, because the inclusion of the American only singles added an extra
spice to the track listing.  I love "Come Together" too much to lose it from the set but it was a B-side to "Something" and there
was the obvious space required to include another Lennon masterpiece of the 1967 psychedelic variety.  There ends comments
about the tracks and onto that ever present matter of counterfeit and dubious pressings.  A subject I am now having to adress on
a regular basis as more titles keep appearing, then artists like the Beatles & Rolling Stones were always targets for unnofficial
vinyl and CD pressings. This a subject I personally had first hand experience of, I did in the 1960's for all the original Beatles
pressings, but now as a professional record, I was witnessing how quickly the few UK copies were bought up on the very day of
release.  Being 'a child of the 60's,' I detest anything that taints such magnificent music and the very spirit that created it,
counterfeit records and memorabilia are flooding onto ebay and I welcome any opportunity to expose them.

Ebay has become a breeding ground for counterfeit items, I seem to be the only regular seller who cares enough to raise a voice
in protest against those photo copying original inserts & actively selling blatant counterfeit picture discs and standard vinyl.
In my small capacity I am trying my best to give collector's all they need to know if they are are unaware about how to identify
the con jobs that appear daily now. Ebay will have to take action soon because if they don't, the BPI will force them to stop the
crimewave unprecedented on any website in the world.  Try re-selling bootleg/pirate and counterfeit unofficial items when the
axe falls on the conmen and that zero value will become a stark reality. Those photo copying "Lady Madonna" inserts etc. will be
exposed, shamed and thrown off, you do not need to tolerate their presence, every item page has a clickable 'report this item' and
and if enough spare the few seconds it takes to do that, ebay can return to being a safe place to buy genuine & authentic records
and memorabilia.   Now, "1" was a massive selling album but based on CD sales and only a fraction were bought on vinyl back in
2000, I know, we were trading at record fairs with access to London's biggest record shop retailers.  They quickly sold out and
EMI did not press more copies 13 years ago.   Suddenly ebay is full of 'new' vinyl copies, just like other Beatles vinyl titles
from the late 1980's decade through to "Let it Be -Naked" and "Love."  The facts are there to check, the genuine shrink wrapped
copies were as rare in the UK in 1988 as they were in 2003 for "Let it Be -Naked", it is not possible for the current abundance
from the actual years of first being released ...unless they were purchased from original one owners who did buy those strictly
limited vinyl editons.   I have made this point over and over again, fake demo's are bad enough, oh well, I can only continue to
warn buyers about sellers who are blatantly currently selling bootleg/ pirate/counterfeit/unofficial versions.  I resent having
to list authentic and rare items among fake ones, I can assure anyone worried, this is indeed an authentic 2000 "Beatles "1" and
positively the rare UK vinyl edition, as bought in the UK on the 13th November 2000.  Even better than that, this happens to be
one of the few in Great Britain that was factory sealed and never opened.

I have found one solution to revealing the authenticity of officially released Beatles etc. vinyl albums is to include a close up
picture of the bar code, when original covers are photo copied the details become unclear and blurred.  For now the only method
available until necessary measure are taken to protect buyers on ebay.

    R & M RECORDS.

My lifetime's love of music and records began at a very young age, the arrival of the Beatles and the 1960's decade
in general had a very profound effect. It was only natural to bring all my first hand experience of collecting vinyl
into becoming a professional record seller.  Over twenty years ago now we entered into the wonderful atmosphere
of record fairs with the highest possible standards set. When the Internet became the world's new market place for
vinyl, in 2001 it was time to join ebay. Those standards were rigidly adhered to as they will always continue to be,
the basics of honesty and integrity were very much part of the era the music I love originated in, so here is our friendly
and very efficient service we are proud to provide;

EVERY RECORD IS FULLY PLAYED AND COMES WITH A 'NO ARGUMENT' MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
I USE GOOD OLD COMMON SENSE AS WELL AS A GLOBALLY ACCEPTED GRADING TERMINOLOGY
FROM THE U.K. "RECORD COLLECTOR PRICE GUIDE" BOOK.
THERE IT CLEARLY STATES "Sound Quality" AFFECTS EVERY GRADING LEVEL AND THAT IS THE ONE
AND ONLY POSSIBLE WAY TO ACCURATELY GRADE RECORDS. i.e. COMBINING A STRICT VISUAL
INSPECTION WITH VERY CLOSELY LISTENING TO EVERY SECOND, UNLESS PERHAPS IN THE CASE
OF GENUINELY UNPLAYED VINYL.  EVEN THEN WE STILL TAKE FULL RESPONSIBITY FOR A RECORD
WHEN A CUSTOMER RECEIVES EITHER A SEALED OR AN UNPLAYED RECORD.

MY DESCRIPTIONS WILL ALWAYS BE 100% HONEST AND TOTALLY ACCURATE ON ALL GRADINGS
FROM 'V.G.' ( VERY GOOD), TO THE ULTIMATE 'MINT' CONDITION.

We have kept all our charges at the same level for years now, but due to the Post Office's new price increases, regretfully we
will have to increase the cost of LP's, however, singles will remain unchanged.  Ebay were aware of that happening and have
increased their minimum postal cost for LP's to & £7.00, that figure has been enforced by the UK Post Office and it will become
our UK First Class, Recorded Delivery cost for albums up to the value of £46.
For LP's valued above £46, the cost will be £9, we are unhappy about either increase but our high standard of packaging has meant
in 12 years of ebay trading, there has not been one item damaged, we are determined to maintain that in the present and future.

IN THE UK RECORDS UP TO THE VALUE OF £41 WILL BE SENT RECORDED DELIVERY, OVER £41 WILL BE
SENT SPECIAL DELIVERY.
