This is the UK 1st Stereo press of ‘Help' by The Beatles. This earliest press has 'The Gramophone Company' and 'Sold In UK' label text. It is complete with the original inner sleeve and the earliest Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending,' Stereo laminated flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has a superb bright gloss with a few very light marks on both sides. None of these are heavy and as such when played the sound is still vibrant and clear with superb separation and just the slightest background noise. The voices are sharp, the backing is bold and each track is very clear. The Yellow and Black Parlophone label is bright, the black is bold, the silver text is sharp and the yellow is bright. There is just slight spindle wear and a light tape mark on one side.
The original and earliest Garrod & Lofthouse Stereo 'Patents Pending' flipback laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The white is extremely bright and the picture is sharp and clear. The back is superb, extremely bright and clean and the flipbacks are complete and sealed. The edges are superb except for a small tear on the opening edge. The whole cover is very solid and the spine is extremely firm with clear text on a bright background.
