ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This superb LP from Deutsche Harmonia Mundi (1C 065-99 803, German Electrola pressing, gold label, stereo) features Sigiswald Kuijken leading La Petite Bande from the violin in magnificent accounts of the Concertos 9-12 from composer Arcangelo Corelli’s Concerti Grossi da Camera Op. 6, recorded in September 1976 at the Oedernsaal, Schloß Kirchheim (producer: Dr. B Bernfeld / engineering by Sonart).

Incidentally, the lovely cover art reproduces a detail from a work in marble by Ludovico von Cigoli (1559-1613). There are fine liner notes on the reverse side of the jacket by Karl Ludwig Nicol, printed in German only.

CONDITION:

The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.

The condition of the jacket is VERY GOOD+. There is some creasing to the front panel and the remains of a former price sticker to the rear panel. However, there are no seamsplits, bends, owners’ markings, or other defects, and the album remains solid, bright, glossy, and highly attractive – overall, a very good collector’s copy.

The condition of the LP is near-MINT and playback is superb – overall, a truly fine collector's copy.

This LP has been carefully cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. All LPs are provided with a new Nagaoka (or Nagaoka-style) inner sleeve.
