Warhorse sophomore album Red Sea is only marginally weaker than their debut. And probably the main reason is the lack of Rick Wakeman. Ashely Holt's powerful Vocals are as amazing as ever. Deep Purple alumnus Nic Simper's Bass thumps as loudly as ever. The songs are almost as well written as the debut, in fact Confident but Wrong is probably the most awesome song Warhorse ever did. But it's just not quite as good as their debut. Still as is, Red Sea is one of the very best Hard Rock/Proto-Metal albums on the 1970s and is a utter treat for the ears.
