A couple of years ago, one of Australia's most respected and most eloquent music writers passed away - he was active all throughout the 80's and 90's, and to a lesser extent, right up until recently. His credibility was perhaps best illustrated by the high reverence in which he was held by his journalistic peers, and especially by the absolute cream of Australia's musicians - members of Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Radio Birdman, Sports, Angels, and many many others counted him as an ally (itself rare in the too often isolationist world he inhabited)...and he had a flurry of loyal readers too...all of whom, it's my guess, would have felt a loop of sadness at the thought his indepth and articulate, impassioned appraisals would no longer be forthcoming.

Just recently I was offered to buy his record collection, which I did, feeling pretty honoured to do so...and here then, is one of the items from that collection:

PRESSED IN:      AUSTRALIA  ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?:    Yes, it is...most definitely!...with glossy laminated flipback cover...VERY hard to find - in fact, quite honestly, it's the first copy I've ever seen (in exactly 40 years of selling rare vinyl in Australia)... CONDITION: COVER: ( EX )...it's SO close to perfect...just has a small crease in the top left corner (more obvious from the back)... RECORD: ( M- )...has ALL of its original shine...it actually looks MINT - I can't see a single mark on it...in fact, when I took it out of it's plastic inner sleeve, it felt like it was the first time that'd ever happened...it's THAT pristine-looking!  LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...there are NO spindle marks on the labels...looks like it's never been played!...

All up, it's most likely the best condition copy you'll EVER see.
