12" Vinyl LP

Brunswick Records

Original 1st UK Pressing

Catalogue Number : LAT 8086

Mono

Laminated flipback Sleeve

A really nice 12" vinyl release of this rare recording.  A1/ B1 matrixes 1st UK pressing on thick vinyl, mcrogroove pressing in very nice condition.

Vinyl is in NM condition and looks hardly played, it still has sweat marks from the poly sleeve - these do  not affect play att all. This vinyl still carries a deep glossy sheen and beautiful lustre. The original textured Brunswick microgroove labels are excellent and there is no spindle wear, surface wear, dirt or warps. Beautiful condition all round.

The part laminated sleeve is graded Excellent (especially for such a flimsy sleeve). The laminate is still excelent throughout, the colours are still vivid and strong. The rear of the sleeve is clean with a penned name (this could be cleaned off if you desire) but generaly excellent.  The spine is straight and true and all four corners are square.

A genuine and collectable classic JAZZ LP, 1st pressing in general Excellent condition.

Please check my other auctions for many more classic original UK and US Jazz and Blues records from a large and well looked after collection.

Records will be mailed in a strong corrugated cardboard cruciform style mailer.

I use the UK record collector grading guide as detailed below.

Records are visually graded unless stated as play graded

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

As well as the above grades, Near Mint is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.
