Ambrose Slade at the time were one of Britains hottest live acts.
They had been picked up by former Animals Bass player, Chas Chandler, who had recently cut his ties with Jimi Hendrix, and was looking for a new project.
Chandler got Ambrose Slade into the studio, where they virtually recorded their live set to vinyl, Ballzy was the result.
An eclectic mix of titles, both self penned and covers.
This was indeed their beginnings, often overlooked,but a bloody good album nonetheless.
