Trojan 001: Duke Reid "Judge Sympathy" b w/ Roland Alphonso "Never To Be Mine" from 1967. The significance of this single in the history of reggae music cannot be overstated. It is the debut single from the most successful and widely distributed reggae label ever. Trojan, particularly this series of all orange labels, is the most collectible and sought after label in all of reggae, especially among the Skins.
Vinyl is VERY GOOD-. The gloss has mostly faded and there are a lot of marks, a couple which appear more significant than their effect on the play of the single. It does play all the way through but with some background noise.
Labels are VERY GOOD-, with black ink writing on both sides. It's a shame because they're actually EXCELLENT other than the writing.
