This 1st press is on the original silver and black EMI PARLOPHONE label. It is complete with the earliest 1/1/1/1 matrix endings, the original inner sleeves and the earliest laminated gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or marks or any signs of play at all. The Parlophone label is completely clean. The black is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation. It sounds sensational throughout.
The plain original inner sleeves are in Near Mint condition. The white is very clean and bright and the edges are firm. They are like new.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are vivid. The laminate is sensational. There is just the tiniest little wear on the bottom edge. The back is also unworn and perfect and the spine is firm with sharp text. The whole sleeve has it original light sheen and is still extremely solid.
