This is the UK 1st Press of ‘Abraxas' by Santana. This press is complete with the earliest A1/B1 matrix, the original plain inner and the earliest matt Shorewood Packaging sleeve.

The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves or obvious wear at all, there are just a few very light wispy marks. The CBS labels are completely clean. The orange is exceptionally bold and the black text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear. 

The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation, the original 1970's warm complete sound. The marks make light background noise, but this is not significant, it still sounds superb. The record is complete with the original plain inner sleeve.

The earliest matt Shorewood Packaging sleeve is in Very Good condition. The white is extremely bright , the text is exceptionally sharp and the colours are vivid. The image is perfect. The back of the sleeve has some light wear and there is light edge wear. The edges are still firm. The spine is sensational.
