SLIPKNOT RARE VERSION ALBUM S/T SELF TITLED DEBUT 12" VINYL ALBUM [LP] FACTORY SEALED 1999 1st Edition / Includes Purity & Frail Limb Nursery UNRELEASED in USA WITH THESE SONGS INCLUDED
"This next song, is about a girl in a box. This song is called Purity"
-Corey before singing this song live
"Purity" is a track that was written for Slipknot's self-titled album. It appeared as track 9 on the album. The track was removed from the album and replaced with "Me Inside" due to lawsuit. The band still continued to perform the song live. The rare studio version also appears on "Disasterpieces" in Audio form under the Music Videos section.
The prelude to Purity, entitled "Frail Limb Nursery", has remained unreleased ever since being removed from the album.
This song is somewhat of a re-recording of the song Despise. After reading about the controversial story, some of the lyrics in Despise were changed to match the story's idea. Others, like in the verses, remained the same. Despise was later re-titled "Purity" to match Purity Knight's name. This was the last song recorded for the album, and the seventh song (not counting 742617000027 and Frail Limb Nursery) until the album's re-release, in which Purity and Frail Limb Nursery didn't appear.
THIS WOULD MAKE A BEAUTIFUL GIFT FOR YOURSELF OR ANY SLIPKNOT FAN!
