I grade legalize it album G/G, and I grade equal rights(open in shrink) VG+/VG+    (VINYL/Cover)  a   Here is my quide to how I rate my records. -   good G: generally rough shape, shows many Scratches. sometimes plays better then it looks but may skip or Pop. your taking your chances with this one covers will have heavy wear, not totally trashed but rough. -   VG- between VG and G Maybe ok as a filler copy untill you can get a better one. -  VG: record shows several surface skuffs/scratches, ( or sometimes looks Glossy and clean with a deeper sctratch) Record Is not trashed or covered in scratches. Still worth listening to,but May have more noticeable defect like seam wear, corner bends, etc but still acceptable. I try to be conservative as this is a very subjective Grade and seems to be most abused. This grade may be used to reflect one very noticeable flaw or the accumulatio of more than one lesser flaws.  -  VG(+): In between VG and VG+ - VG+ record shows Signs Of normal use may have some surface skuffs/scratches, May have lost some luster But generally still looks to be in decent playing condtion. Mostly These will only have lite background noise In places. cover will have general shelf wear, but still held together Nicely.  - EX- In between VG+ and EX.  EX: Glossy and may look Mint under normal light. Under bright light shows some sign of use. cover has very light shelf wear.  - NM- Barley A faint sleeve skuff Or Very superficial mark only noticeable under bright light. Cover has Minor Imperfection barely Noticeable.  - NM(NEAR MINT)An Opened record that has no marks high gloss,no signs of dead wax of ever being played. covers are firm, clear and straight and no sign of wear.  - MINT sealed In factory NO WEAR AT ALL to
