uncle b jay bazaar (for the rare and one of a kind):
Getatchew Mekuria- Getatchew Mekuria and his saxophone PHILIPS PH 130 (ETHIOPIA)
visual grade: M- play grade: M--/g track b3 labels: super clean cover: strong Vg, no tape or writings, only some brown residue on back which'd be from some coffee dropping (hardly visible) ?! very fragile in relief cover (like Peter Brotzmann "Nipples" LP on Calig)
conservative grading
comments: to me this LP it's one of the three all time best album from Ethiopia along with Mergia and Mulatu "ethio jazz", a timeless album of instrumental jazz played by a legendary sax player which was the undisputed saxophone colossus of Ethiopia. i had never seen in so many years a vinyl from Ethiopia in such wonderful condition like this one ! it got a beautiful & shining lustre, labels got one or two spindle marks only ! i presume that  it was not played more then 4/5 times. only shame it got some pressing defects (little bubbles) on track B3 which cause some audible toc  (i rec. B3 in full for you to hear properly), with a light stylo it might cause a skip. sold four times only in the last 15 years on eBay (popsike) and  three were in g/poor condition, so this it's a chance that don't happens so often. very rare album of supreme beauty, perfect for late night "excursions"...
