Flash was The Moving Sidewalks' only studio album and I have to say that they succeeded with it. The record is filled with psychedelia and also some bluesy material. And of course Gibbons offers some really good guitarwork. What I also like a lot about this album is the really cool organ in some of the songs.The highlights include "Pluto - Sept. 31st", "No Good to Cry" and "Joe Blues" but all of the songs are more or less great. I'm not that big fan of Gibbons' more famous band ZZ Top even if they have released some nice records in the 70's. I have to say that I prefer this album over any studio album by ZZ Top I've listened to.
The Moving Sidewalks' Flash is a very strong acid rock record with lots to offer for the fans of the genre. WHY NOT CHECK OUT MY EBAY STORE -
