GRADING STANDARDS
|||||MINT (M): Sealed, or opened to verify pressing, but unplayed-----Jacket or Box: No obvious flaws
|||||NM (M-) Vinyl: Almost no sign of play, perhaps a spindle mark on the label and an occasional soft random tick with no obvious source-----Jacket or Box: Minor shelf wear, at most;
|||||NM- (E+) Vinyl: Almost NM, with some spindle marks, very few barely visible and inaudible scuffs and an occasional random soft tick with no obvious source-----Jacket or Box: Minor ring wear, creased corner, writing on back;
|||||VG++ (E) Vinyl: More obvious evidence of play and scuffs or light marks that will produce very few repetitive and/or random soft ticks, but will not seriously impair enjoyment of the music-----Jacket or Box: Possible seam splits, writing, corner crease or bump, laminate peel;
|||||VG+ (E-) Vinyl: Similar to VG++, but a step down in quality-----Jacket or Box: Large seam splits, writing, bent corners, sticker pulls, laminate peel;
|||||VG Vinyl: Clear evidence of play, with some audible clicks but no skips.....only rarer records offered in this condition-----Jacket or Box: Like VG+, but more excessive damage.
GRADING is strict and conservative, and records are guaranteed to be as described. Most LPs are play-graded. Visible marks are checked for audibility. Scuffs and scratches are checked. Grading is influenced accordingly. Nevertheless, mistakes happen and defects can occasionally be overlooked or be too small to detect. Many records are cleaned before the auction, but cleaning is strongly advised after purchase. If the records are not in the condition described a refund will be provided. If my grading was seriously mistaken, I will refund the cost of shipping. If the records are seriously damaged in shipping, for example cracked or badly warped, please send photos; I WILL NOT KNOWINGLY SHIP RECORDS IN THESE KINDS OF CONDITIONS!
IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 FEEDBACKS
