This UK rare 1st press is on the earliest half moon red and black Columbia label. The recording features The Cleveland Orchestra and Judith Raskin, soprano.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. There is a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. The grooves show no sign of wear or heavy play, there are just a couple of wispy light marks on Side 1. The vinyl truly is superb. The label is also superb, the red and black are exceptionally bold and the white and black text are immaculate. There is just the very slightest, hardly noticeable spindle wear. The vinyl is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The sound quality is Near Mint. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is superb separation and clarity throughout, just as it was intended.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. This sleeve is in superb shape. The image is sharp, the colours are sensational and the laminate is flat and glossy. There are just a couple of spine laminate creases. The text is solid and the white rear of the sleeve has only very faint discolouration, it is still extremely bright and completely clean. The whole sleeve is solid, the flipbacks are sealed and complete and the spine is firm with clear text.
