Another from my personal collection. I own all of the QUEEN albums and I have most of the UK variations that I know
of. This being their sixth Queen album released over 41 years ago ! All
of my Queen albums listed will be near mint Audio Archive copies
and some may even be unplayed or at least only played once or twice
only! This album was originally only ever played initially to record to tape and then stored in a case with the vinyl separated from the sleeve and cover for protection. This is how I have always stored my records. This is an early 1st UK pressing so rare to find this
mega earliest possible -2 -1 matrix endings The vinyl has only ever been played by me two times ever from
new and the audio is to die for absolutely stunning through out! On initial inspection the vinyl looks unplayed in my opinion I can just barely see one feint visable spider trail around the spindle hole! The Audio is so rich and vibrant it
nearly shook the house down. Possibly the best sounding copy that I have heard!
(Note: Alowances must be made for these mid seventies pressings ticks and pops are common caused due to the nature of the way that the vinyl was supplied in a card record sleeve. Dirt and grit trapped in the sleeve caused surface scratches which is why I now and have done for forty odd years, stored my vinyls seperately from the sleeves and covers.) Although I never heard any thing worth to mention. The original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse unlaminated gate fold cover has no splits or tears and has
very, very, very minor storagewear/scuffing at the edge onl. Lovely square spine! I would grade the cover at least
excellent plus. Exceptional condition lovely cleansee photos! A very clean Archive copy!

News of the World is the sixth studio album by English rock band Queen, released in 1977.
Containing such hit songs as "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" (which are both commonly heard at sporting events) and "Spread Your Wings", the album went four times platinum in the United States alone and is tied with 1980's The Game as Queen's best American selling album.
Despite being an abrupt departure from the band's progressive sound, the album is considered one of Queen's strongest albums from the 1970s.
It received mixed reviews from both critics and fans upon its release, but today it is considered to b e a milestone album in the development of arena rock.
News of the World was the second album to be produced solely by the band (the first being A Day at the Races) and was recorded at Sarm West and Wessex Studios, England and co-produced and engineered by Mike Stone.
"We Will Rock You" (May) - 2:01

There isn't much to say about this vinyl. I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface! No Scratches or marks that would cause any loud clicks or pops at all! Obviously any whispy lines that could possibly be seen would only have been caused by the vinyl been removed\slid in and out of its sleeve! I have stored the vinyl seperately in a poly sleeve all of its storage life!
The Audio Quality I have played this vinyl at very loud volume on a top system and recorded the complete album for you to hear in the player above! Basically this is the best sounding copy that I have heard ever! This sounded absolutely perfect on my systems. Clear, vibrant without any distortion at all. Even in between tracks this was lovely and quiet. I would grade this audio as Near Mint throughout in my opinion! Best Ever! Hear for yourself in the player above! Actual recording from this vinyl listed!
Custom 1st Issue EMI Labels. Barely a spider trace at all can be seen around the spindle hole, perhapes a handfull barely seen on one side if looked for only! Note: Only ever played a handful of times by me only. Very rare like this after 41 years!
The Record Sleeve
This is the original di cut red lyric sleeve. Note: The edges are becoming frail and beginning to split, The sleeve is clean and straight. This is the original! The vinyl is now always stored seperately from the sleeve and cover for protection.
This is the original Garrod & Lofhouse (non) laminated gatefold cover in stunning condition throughout. Unbelievable to see like this after 41 years. Note any rubbing/scuffing at the edges are minimal and you have to look to notice any. The spine is lovely and square all text is readable. Please note! there is no fading nor staining on ythe front or rear any one who knows these covers or has one would know how rare it is to find one like this! Infact the only time that the gatefold has been opened on this album is when i took the photos for listing! I would grade this cover at least excellent plus in my opinion!
Please do not underestimate the rarety of this album and being an original 1st press that is 30 years old is becoming more and more collectable and in this condition will rarely ever be seen like this!
