Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

 On offer is this awesome cover of this Rolling Stones epic by a real singer's singer. Merry Clayton sang on the original version that was released on the highly regarded 'Let It Bleed' album. The daughter of a Baptist minister, Merry Clayton grew up singing in her father's church in New Orleans. She made her professional debut at age 14, recording a duet with Bobby Darin. She went on to work with The Supremes, Elvis Presley and many others, and was a member of Ray Charles's group of backing singers, The Raelettes. She is one of the singers featured in the new documentary film ; 20 feet from stardom !!!

 The record looks as new with its just pressed shine and super healthy grooves. Played it once just to be able to post a sound sample file. No needle marks or anything.

The labels are super clean and the original company sleeve is intact, like new !!!
