BEATLES: LET IT BE- AR 34001 / 1st Press Red Apple Gatefold / Maggie May SD / NM

Offered is the 1st Edition pressing of, The Beatles, Let It Be, on Apple Records ("Red Apple") label AR 34001.

THE VINYL:  NM :  for both sides. Present are a few very light marks. The label shows minimal spindlewear. The surface is lightly played, the disc retains all of its original gloss. Here are some of the markings that are consistent with the 1st edition status:

Most important, at the end of the label credits for Side 1, credit for Maggie May is simply "PD" (no other reference).

In the deadwax runout, "Phil & Ronnie" are hand-etched; Side 1 matrix is "JS 17,500-13 #3"; "Bell Sound" "sf";  and the small triangle with "I AM" on the inside of it.

Please have a look at the last 3 photos (in the top photo panel) of some inscriptions in the deadwax.

 

THE COVER:  EX+ :  Very faint ringwear on the front & back cover; small left lower front cover corner wrinkle; glossy colour all around; all the seams are intact; no writing, stains or paper loss. I have placed the disc in a plastic coated inner sleeve to better protect its quite excellent condition.
