Stevie Wonder, Songs In The Key Of Life.

1976 England pressed EMI Motown Records 2 x LP set housed in gatefold sleeve with lyric booklet, TMSP 6002.

Includes the original free 33rpm 7", STME 2020, housed in plain white sleeve.

With the LPs vinyl visually is close to near mint with the following exceptions. A tiny scratch to the very beginning of side B. A small scratch confined to track D2. A longer visible scuff mark to D side. Some small scuff marks right at the edge of the C side.

In playback terms there are around three ticks to the beginning of B1, mostly obscured by the loud intro. The track D2 is quieter in nature and some minor background crackle is head here and there, but not overwhelming the music. The small scuff marks at the beginning of the C side are near inconsequential, just one tiny scuff is heard. Else marks are superficial and non-sounding and remainder of LP plays a very solid EX plus to near mint throughout.

The 7" looks very bright and clean but conservatively graded VG as some background crackle is noticeable, but again not overwhelming the music.

Labels are clean and unmarked on all three discs.

Presumed original inner sleeves are both EMI, with one having ads for other Motown LPs. Inners in good order with the exception of a longish centre seam split to bottom of Motown sleeve.

Booklet has a vertical crease throughout from top to bottom but not heavily impressed. Some foxing dotting to wraps and a few other spots but only lightly so. Some minor half moon handling type creasing. Staples rusted without excessive leeching to pages. Else booklet is in good order. Note that booklet is the matt variety, not glossy.

External gatefold sleeve around VG plus. Some very light general wear and just a hint of ringwear but no structural damage of note. A few minor hairline impressions. No stickers, pen etc. Entry side knocked a little but not worn or feathered and other edges in good order with just minor whitening wear to joints.
