This is the UK 1st Press of 'Imagine' by John Lennon. The earliest press is complete with the rare 1U/1U matrix, the earliest heavy vinyl, printed inner sleeve and fully laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational bright gloss, with only the lightest sign of play, a few insignificant very light hairlines marks. Every track has the original deep black finish. The sound is Excellent. On playing the sound is warm, rich and extremely clear. There are moments of a little background noise but these are insignificant. It sounds superb. The label is completely clean with bright colours and sharp text. There is the slightest spindle wear.
The record is complete with the original inner sleeve in Excellent condition. The edges are firm, the white is bright and it is completely clean.
The fully laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate is glossy and bright, the colours are vivid and the image is clear. There is a little corner wear and a couple of laminate creases. The earliest pinched spine is extremely solid with sharp text.
