Mushroom were a progressive folk group who included some traditional Celtic folk music sound into their style. The album also includes some psychedelic influences here and there.

The quality of the material is mostly enjoyable. The highlights include "Crying", "Standing Alone" and the album closer "King of Alba". While there are a couple of weaker tracks as well most of the time this disc sounds pretty impressive. The weakest parts are those tracks which are more "traditional Irish folk music" oriented.
