The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed LP 1971 UK Stereo Press

No poster & No lyric inner

CAT NO: SKL 5025

PRESSING DETAILS:  UK Press side 1 (XZAL-9363-P-1W) & (1 BBG)

                                                       side 2 (XZAL-9364-P-5W) & (1 BBG) stamped.

SLEEVE: (VG+) Front laminated sleeve printed in England by Clout & Baker has light wear from use and storage with some discolouration to the back from handling and storage. Spine has some light scuffing in places. All text is perfectly readable. No splits no rips.

INNER SLEEVE: (VG+) Standard blue stereo polylined inner has light wear and creasing from storage. No splits no writing.

RECORD LABELS: (G+) No writing and no stickers and with lots of mild/heavy spindle marks when angled under bright light - more noticeable on side 2 because they go right the the edge of the label.

VINYL CONDITION VISUALLY: (G+) Vinyl is flat and glossy and when angled under bright light there are lots of light/mild hairlines/paper scuffs to both sides with a couple of light scratches. In normal light the scratches and several hairlines are clearly visible - the worst looking is a long hairline that is about 4" long and goes back and forth across tracks 1,2 & 3 on Side 2 but luckily does not affect the playing or sound.  Has been enjoyed and played many times over the years but there is still plenty of life left in it!

OVERALL PLAYING GRADE: (VG) Both sides play much better than they look with occasional light background crackle /static noticeable in places during the gaps and quieter parts of the music and the odd light pop. The louder majority of both sides play at least VG+ if not higher. The sound quality is amazing - far superior to any CD remaster or re-press with real warmth and detail. A presentable and great playing Rolling Stones 1971 UK pressing not to be missed!

Strict grading using Record Collector grading system.  All records are play tested on a Technics SL-1210 MK2 record player with a Shure White Label Cartridge and Stylus. All records are sent in correct record mailers or cruciform box with at least 4 cardboard stiffeners and the vinyl removed for the the original inner and put in a new polylined inner sleeve outside of the cover to make sure no splits happen during delivery. All vinyl is sent tracked and signed for.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING

All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.

M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
