“RUBBER SOUL” LP by The Beatles

This LP is Apple Records ST - 2442.

This is a STEREO LP.

According to Perry Cox, this LP, which is constructed of cardboard with cover slick pasted on, was issued 1971 – 1975 from Capitol Records’ Winchester pressing plant.

This LP has APPLE labels with “Mfd. by Apple” printed on them that also indicates that the LP in this auction was issued from 1971 to 1975.

The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION and still in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. (Only very light wear on the bottom right corner at the opening, a tiny push on the bottom left corner and some light aging (foxing) on the rear cover near the opening keep me from grading this cover Near Mint.) There is a 4 ½-inch X 3 ½-inch piece of shrink wrap missing at the bottom right corner on the front and a very small snag in the shrink wrap above John’s head. An original price sticker is on the rear shrink wrap.

The VINYL is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION with just a few very light/slight hairlines/scuffs (none “feelable”).

Due to the primarily dark-colored cover, this is a tough LP cover to find in nice and clean condition. (Clearly, the shrink wrap has protected it well over the years.)

It’s a GREAT Beatles LP to add to your vinyl collection.
