Artist : THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Title : AXIS BOLD AS LOVE Catalogue Number : 613 003 Matrix : STEREO - 613003 A-1 / B-1 and the MONO - 613001 A-1 / B-1 Issue : This is the UK 1st press of both the RARE MONO and also the STEREO 1st press. They are complete with the earliest Axis Bold As Love laminated Ernest J Day gatefold sleeve. Vinyl Condition : The Mono vinyl is in GOOD condition. The vinyl is glossy but does however have some marks on both sides. The matt Mono label is extremely bold and clean. The text is sharp and there is just the slightest spindle wear. The Stereo vinyl is also in VERY GOOD condition. The vinyl is glossier and brighter than the Mono press although is does still have some light marks. The labels are also exceptionally bright and clean. Sleeve Condition : The laminated flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. The laminate is superb, the colours are vivid and bright and the picture is sharp. There are a couple of small laminate creases and a little edge wear but the sleeve is still very solid and bright. The inside flipbacks are complete and sealed. The image is sharp. There is a name on the top edge. Insert Condition : The insert is complete and is extremely clean and bright. Play Condition : The sound is vibrant and bold. There is some noise especially at the beginning of the Mono press and it does have some noise throughout. The Stereo press has the better sound quality. Clear from start to finish with only moments of slight noise. Both play through without skips or jumps and both have bold, clear sound.
