Marshall Dodge & Robert Bryan - A Maine Pot-Hellion - Bert & I, Volume 2. Event ELP-302 monoraul LP record album. In this record, Bryan & Dodge assembled a pot-hellion of Maine humorists with their own stories to tell, including Horace Stevens, Alan Bemis, Steve Graham, Betty Brown, Peter Kilham, Lawrence Kilham, George Allen, Walter Kilham, and William Lippincott. Released 1960. The concept of "Bert and I" began with Robert Bryan and Marshall Dodge back in 1958. The two Yale graduates shared a love of the stories and anecdotes rooted in Maine and New England folklore. They made the stories their own, and in doing so captured the essence of the Maine mystique through humor. If you already know Maine, you will appreciate it even more after listening to a "Bert and I" recording. If you don't know Maine, the "Bert and I" records are a great place to start! Condition: Record is VG++. Cover has extensive split seams. No promo or cut-out markings of any kind.
